George A. Davison, Jr., was born in Twin Falls, Idaho in 1922. He attended Washington State College (now Washington State University) where he was a member of the varsity baseball and basketball teams.

Davison left campus in 1943 to enter military service and attained the rank of second lieutenant, serving with the 15th Infantry Regiment of the 3rd Infantry Division.

Second Lieutenant Davison was killed in action on March 18, 1945 while his regiment was attacking German Siegfried Line positions south of Zweibrücken.

2/Lt. Davison is buried at Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial at Saint-Avold, France.
