Masami Nakamura was born on April 8, 1924 in Nagasaki Prefecture,
Japan. He attended Nagasaki Shogyo high school before signing with the
Tokyo Giants (Kyojin) in 1943.The right-handed hitting third baseman
played 30 games his rookie year and batted .180. In 1944, he played 33
games, batting .220 with 17 RBIs.
Masami Nakamura was drafted into military service in 1944 and died in
combat in China on January 29, 1945.
